02/09/2011: MokitaGrit’s Artistic Director, Joe Fredericks, is directing The Moon is Halfway to Heaven by David Kerby-Kendall at Jermyn Street Theatre from 6th September to 1st October.

17/07/2011: We are sad to announce that Emily Agnew has stepped down from her position at MokitaGrit Productions and will no longer be involved in the day to day running of the company. After much consideration, she has decided that she can no longer give the company the amount of time and commitment she would like, as she pursues her other directing and script development work in the industry. She will continue to take an active interest in MGP and we are sure we will work with her again in the near future. All of us thank her for her incredible contribution to MGP since co-founding it and wish her the very best of luck with all her future projects.
06/07/2011: Our Five Star Reviewed production of David Mamet’s Mr Happiness & The Water Engine at The Old Vic Tunnels is now Timeout Critic’s Choice. David Burt has been nominated for an Off West End award for his portrayal of Mr Happiness. The production ends this Saturday (July 9th). 18/05/2011: MokitaGrit’s next production at Southwark Playhouse will be Four Nights in Knaresborough. Celebrated screen and playwright, Paul Webb, has written a brand new version of of the play specifically for our production. Runs 20th July – 13th August 2011
09/03/2011: The Times Critic’s Choice Company is now sold out. The production has played to nearly 6000 people and is now the most successful box office show in Southwark Playhouse’s history.
